Winther CX is equipped with Hydraulic Disc Brakes on all three wheels, which is a most powerful and safe brake option. They feature a strong braking force during all weather conditions, also when it’s wet outside. Hydraulic Disc Brakes are superior in modulation - meaning the ability to precisely and accurately control the braking force - so you can stop the bike when and where you want.
The brake system comes with a parking brake which is easily activated by pushing a dial on the left brake lever. This locks the two front wheels, securing the cargo bike, also on uneven terrain.

All Winther cargo bikes can be equipped with either a rear hub motor or a mid-drive motor. A rear hub motor provides robust pedaling assistance, making it easier to conquer any terrain. On the other hand, the mid-drive motor offers a smoother and more stable ride, improving overall balance and comfort. When selecting the right motor, consider technical specifications and personal preferences, such as power, speed, and torque. Our E-motors assist until 25 km/h for compliance and safety. All Winther cargo bikes come equipped with a removable battery, providing maximum convenience for recharging at any standard power outlet.

The Bafang rear motor generates 250 watts of power and an output torque of 45 Nm, giving the Winther CX ample power for tackling steep hills and quick accelerations. Weighing only 3.8 kg, the elegant design of the Bafang e-motor complements the sleek appearance of Winther cargo bikes.
Powering the motor system is a robust Bafang Li-ION battery with a capacity of 750 Wh (equivalent to 17.5 Ah), conveniently located on the luggage carrier. Together, the motor and battery provide an estimated range of up to 45 km on a single charge, depending on factors such as terrain, weather conditions, load, and assistance level.

Shimano STePS E6100 provides Winther CX with a powerful, lightweight mid-drive motor combined with an Alfine 8-speed internal gear system and a shifter mounted on the right side of the handlebars.
The motor can provide 250 watts of power and has an output torque of 60 Nm, giving the Winther CX plenty of power, both up hills and in fast accelerations. The motor is extremely quiet and durable in all weather conditions.
The motor system is powered by a powerful Li-ION battery of 504 Wh (equivalent to 14 Ah), located on the rear rack. Together with the motor, the battery gives you an estimated range of up to 55 km on a single charge, but of course, this depends on terrain, weather conditions, load and the assistance level.
